Email Marketing

We all know that it’s important to market our business.

And I’m sure you have heard of email marketing.

You may have even read over and over that the most important thing to do is to build your email list.

But, you may not know how to go about choosing an email marketing service.

Well, that’s where this post comes in.

Email marketing is a great way for you to build relationships with your audience.

It can also be another way for you to advertise products and increase your sales.

Some call it the gold mine to your online empire.

A majority of successful bloggers generate a good income from email marketing.

Even though it may be worth it, it’s a lot of work to build one.

It’s going to take a while before you have a list that’s going to earn you any money.

You are going to have to build trust with your audience to turn them into customers.

And here is how you start.

Choosing An Email Marketing Service

Email Marketing Provider

First, you are going to have to decide on an email marketing service provider.

And I don’t mean like Google or Yahoo.

You need one that you can integrate with our blog.

Plus, you have to have a provider that is going to be able to send out automated emails.

There is no way around this.

You want an email sent as soon as you get an interaction.

Plus, could you imagine trying to send out individual emails to a huge subscriber list?

There is no possible way that you could keep up.

Now there are a ton of providers out there.

Below are a few of the top ones that are the most recommended.

They are all great options. Each one is just different.

Sometimes it’s best to check out a couple of different ones on a free trial basis.

Then you can compare for yourself which one is best for your business and/or blog.

Drip is going to be the first one on my list.

It’s the one I currently use here. They have quite a bit to offer.

I will say that they do have a learning curve.

When you don’t know what you’re doing, it can be a little overwhelming.

But, I feel it’s worth it, because of all they have to offer.

Drip offers a free plan of up to 100 subscribers.

So, if you’re just starting out, this gives you plenty of time to grow your list

without having to pay for an email service that isn’t making you any money yet.

And for anyone else, they offer a free two-week trial.

Plus, you can use every feature they have, during a trial and on any plan they offer.

A lot of other providers have only limited services during their trial period or on certain plans.

They also help make marketing easier by seamlessly integrating every aspect of your business.

It’s even great for e-commerce.

With website tracking, easily follow your customer’s journey.

And automatically send out an email to a customer that left something in their cart.

It’s easy to manage your subscriber lists too.

They can automatically move a subscriber from one campaign to another.

If nothing else, check out their free trial. I’m sure you’ll love all they have to offer.

Aweber is next on the list.

They have been around for ages and have a lot of satisfied customers.

It is one of the more basic options.

Although they don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, they do still have a lot to offer.

They have a 30-day free trial.

And they also offer access to all features during their trial and with any plan.

They offer a drag & drop feature that makes it easy to build a message for your list.

You can track your email performance with analytics.

And even send targeted emails and campaigns.

Aweber integrates with your favorite online tools.

They offer responsive sign-up forms as well as pop-ups.

Plus, they even have mobile apps so you can check your stats on the go.

If you’re looking for a very basic email marketing provider then Aweber is a great option.

Get Response

Now we have Get Response.

They have a lot of features that make it a really good option…

if you even need all the options they offer.

You can give it a free test drive and check it out for yourself.

They offer one month free with no strings attached.

Get Response also makes it easy to integrate with all of your favorite apps.

They are an all-in-one marketing platform to help you grow your business.

You’ll get drag & drop features, which make it quick and easy to be up and running.

It’s a great option for an experienced marketer as well as a beginner.

They offer over 50 features like landing pages, pop-ups, list building tools, and customer tracking.

Plus, they are the first email service to offer a complete webinar marketing solution.

The final one on the list is MailChimp.

This one is among the top providers.

I have not included a link.

But, I wanted to share some important information about them.

They offer a lot of features similar to the ones listed above.

They have easy to understand stats, e-commerce integration, and drag & drop options.

MailChimp offers a free plan with up to 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails.

But, before signing up with them you need to keep the following things in mind.

After reading a lot of complaints on them, I did some research and found this…

They will not allow anyone in the work from home, make money online, or the lead generation opportunities.

They also do not allow for MLM, get out of debt opportunities, or affiliate marketing.

This is plainly stated in their terms of service.

So, if you are in any of these fields, just be aware of this.
